We saved you a seat. Come join us!
What does it take to be considered for a Rotary Club membership?
Here’s what we look for:
- You have a heart for service to your community -what we refer to as "service above self"
- You are a person of good character
- You conduct yourself with integrity
- You are of high ethical standards
- You are able to attend our weekly meetings, social events, and service projects on a fairly regular basis (we know life happens, and that's OK!)
- You are willing to uphold the FOUR-WAY TEST, an ethical guideline used by Rotarians worldwide to evaluate the things they think, say, or do:
The FOUR-WAY TEST consists of four questions:
- Is it the truth?
- Is it fair to all concerned?
- Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
- Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
This test was created in 1932 by Herb Taylor and serves as a moral code for personal and business relationships. It has been translated into over 100 languages!
